Why Maybeland? Because our content development experts may, or may not, edit and/or use your contribution based on the quality of your submission.
What are the chances my guide will go up on the site? Quite good if the guide is good, and not identical, or too close, to any of the existing guides already up on the site.
Why so picky about what goes up on the site? Because this is a dedicated cell phone site, with task-based content intended to educate users on the spot, we are working hard to make sure all guides are easy to use and useful.
So what's the standard against which you evaluate submissions then? For guides other than Pro Guides, easy to use and useful, in a format that works well on cell phones (see existing diversion guides for examples).
Pro Guides are written in conjunction with educell.com experts to meet the standard of best practices. Best practices are defined as: the most efficient (least amount of effort) and effective (best results) way of accomplishing a task, based on repeatable procedures that have proven themselves over time for large numbers of people.
When will educell.com's content development experts have a look at my submission? Maybe in a few hours, maybe in a few days. It all depends on the workload, so we suggest checking in from time to time to see if your guide is up on the site.
Do I get credit? If your submission is accepted you will be listed under a "Submitted by" link with an embedded URL of your choice. Like this, or this.
